Sarah Parker, MA, LMFT

Do you want to feel better, think clearer, and have a better overall picture of life? Sometimes all you need is just an ounce of hope that can come from moments when a listening ear helps lift a burden; when you experience a new way to see a situation; or even when you have an “aha” moment. Sarah Parker, MA, LMFT works with clients to help achieve these moments. A Master’s of Divinity (MDiv) from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia; a Master's Degree (MA) in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary in Arden Hills; 20 years of experience in pastoral and family ministry; and 3 years providing marriage and family therapy has prepared Sarah to support your unique strengths and challenges. “I strive to create a positive counseling environment for many different individual and relationship issues that provide opportunities for personal growth and change so that you will experience more hope in your life and in your relationships.” A certified PREPARE/ENRICH premarital counseling facilitator, Sarah is also trained as a human sexuality facilitator and has utilized her training in workshops designed for children through adults. Sarah specializes in treating individuals, couples, and families. Her clinical interests lie in treating couples’ issues, family of origin issues, parenting challenges, life transitions, sexual concerns, and grief and loss. In addition, Sarah has experience working with individuals and families living with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
